I will have images shortly of Violet Green CH Fallow and DF Violet Green CH Fallow soon, this is the clutch last week.

From 12 o'clock CW, DF Violet Green CHF, DF Violet Green /CHF, Violet Green CHF, Green CHF, from another clutch, Dark Violet Green, all /Blue. Flash used.

Nice clutch, Willy! I think the bird I underlined is rather a SF violet green / CHF, with the bird at 11 o'clock a DF violet green / CHF.

@Keeskk16, my dad has some of these birds in blue series from a pair violet / CHF x cobalt violet CHF. If you are interested, I'll ask for pics.

Nope, there are 3 red eyed CHFs and a DF Violet Green split, ignore the bird at 11pm, not a ringneck. Both DF Violet Greens have their heads hidden, one is a CHF, the one at 12pm.

Would that be a malabar :D

One of these days, and soon, I'm going to get me a pair of malabars. They are stunning. And emerald collared parakeets.

Not the best picture. Taken with mobile phone and sent via Whatsapp, so the resolution was reduced. The parents are underlined above, so let's see what everyone thinks they are. Three on the left are CHF, two on the right are /CHF.

Yeah sounds good.

But if the first one is dark(sf) violet(df)blue then the second couldn't be the same. ;)
So then the second should be dark(sf) violet(sf) blue.

Here ist my try (left to right):

dark(sf) violet(df) blue
violet(sf) blue
CHF dark(sf) violet(sf) blue
CHF dark(sf) blue
CHF violet(sf) blue

or

dark(sf) violet(df) blue
violet(df) blue or dark(sf) violet(sf) blue
CHF dark(sf) violet(df) blue
CHF dark(sf) blue
CHF violet(df) blue or CHF dark(sf) violet(sf) blue

To make things interesting, and perhaps give a slightly different perspective, same batch of birds taken with flash.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, Kees. The dark green CHF cock on this page should look almost the same. Best I can do at this stage, and I bet you really want to see the tail feathers.

I have seen blueviolet chf ,cobalt chf
And I have seen darkgreen chf

The most breeders do have darkgreen birds or blueviolet or cobalt

But there are less breeders that have greenviolet

All violet birds are.pretty but I like them most in green series

I hope you guys have some nice pictures for me

I think I've got some nice picture for you next breeding season
