I need some advice I want to know if my indian ring neck is male or female. I am trying to upload a pic but it wont let me. Secondly I have had my parrot for four months now and he is still scared of us will not let us go near him, we hav tried everything. its really upsetting me now dont know what to do...

If it has a black/orange/blue ring, it is definitely a boy. If it has no ring, then it is either a young IRN or a female (or albino). Male IRNs will get their ring around 3yrs of age.


So what exactly have you tried already?
