What's Wrong With Apollo's Beak???

Can anyone tell me what's going on with Apollo's beak? It looks like it's cracked and peeling or flaking. He seems healthy otherwise, but I don't know if this is normal or not. He has stuff to file his beak on in his cage and lots of toys. Any suggestions?

perhaps he scraped it on the filing tool? Jay had a crack from I don't know what but h erecovered

Just looks like he's shedding the outer layer. Is he at his first molt yet? Skyes beak looks horrible right now. I actually took him to the vet thinking he had a vitamin deficiency. Nope, just natural shedding. He was losing big flakes at a time. Scared the day lights out if me
