Byndi's being a PUNK

Hey everyone,
Any clue what might be going on with my Byndi bird? He's being a real punk! He won't come out of his cage. Sits on the very top perch and just SCREAMS to no end! And he bit me twice this weekend and once was even on my birthday! That just really hurt my feelings.

And now in the mornings when I get them up he'll lunge at me while I'm in front of Remmi's cage. He's just being a real punk!!!! Any ideas why he might be doing this? Could it be cuz I was gone for so long? Any suggestions what I might be able to do to fix it? Oh! And he'll just step right up for John, but bites and lunges at me when I try to get him. Grrrrr.........
Thanks for any suggestions,
Jen

Sadly he may have bonded to your husband! It may have been because he was the only one around for a long time. WHo knows? Try to keep your old routine up! Once again take the bites and force him to step up. Repetition is the key Jen...

No bluffing for our Byndi! Just ask Jen, it hurts!
Jen, you just tell my wee man his Aunty Chamon says if he doesnt cut it out he'll have me to answer to!
Just get back into your routine and he will settle again. At least in the mean-time he has John and its good they have bonded, but there no reason why his relationship with you cant be just as good. Give it time (I know, MORE time) and he'll get his act together. This is nothing new just him testing those boundaries again and you not moving, even an inch!
We did it before, we can do it again

Thanks guys! Appreciate all the words of encouragement. Man he is just being such a PUNK!!! I've still got a bruise and bite mark from one of the bites he gave me. He got me on my left hand BETWEEN my middle finger and my ring finger. YEEEEEE----OUCH!!!!!

My birthday was the 12th. And that was my Byndi bite day. Thanks for the birthday wishes too. Kind of a hard day to go thru w/out my beloved Daddy calling. But I know he was sending birthday wishes to me from Heaven.

Well guess what?? As I'm typing this my Byndi bird is sitting ever so nicely on my shoulder. Just hanging out. And he was a little reluctant to step but he did on the second try. So... He's coming around.
