I noticed my rigneck is nibbling on the wood shavings

Hi all i hope you can help me I noticed my rigneck is nibbling on the wood shaving he is only 4-5 weeks old , s is he starting to wean? I have placed a millet in his box but im not sure if he has taken it or not should i try someting?

I have noticed that on my 4-5wk old chick as well! For the last 2ish days he/she's refusing its food but acting hungry. I'm not sure what to do as the my other two slightly younger chicks are eating fine, so I don't think it's anything I'm doing wrong! I don't want to force feed the poor thing, but am going to have too, otherwise it will starve to death!

Sanjay demolishes swings with wooden fruit flavoured blocks of wood, and I get a neat little pile of sawdust on the bottom of his cage,
