After watching ur 2 ova vids i have adopted a higher tone in my voice when talking to marely and he reacts to it much better than my normal voice. My family think im a nut-nut [im in denial]Anyway thanks so much to u and Misty for posting it , i love this vid forum. Natalie xx

Aaaaawww so cute, sounds like my little burble-butt. I really need to get a vid of Dats in the morning when shes trying desperately to impress me enough to get her out!

Anikin is so sweet and he sounds just like Misty. I love when he called himself "little Wookie"! Datsun never says her name, she calls for Tom (the cat) and Audi and Chev but never adresses herself. She thinks its really funny to call herself a "gooooooooooooooooood giiiiiiirll" and see whether we agree at the moment :roll:

Anikin is fully flighted? Is Archimedes? I wish I could let Dats be flighted but also still give her the freedom of going out with me.... I want it all!!! :wink:

Yay, I love the video! Please keep them coming! I hate waiting and its so nice to see how other people interact with their IRNs and how they act in return.

That video was AWESOME! I love those birds!! How fun. I'm going to have to try to maybe talk with more enthusiasm and a higher pitch to my voice. They sure are happy little fellas. Thanks for sharing. Keep them coming. Gives us something to aspire to!

Thanks for all the nice comments! I'm not a Star Wars fan; I liked the name Anikin and just thought it fit my little bird.

I will be posting more videos soon. Anikin was talking ok, but he talks so clear and says so many things, you can never seem to tape them at the right moments, or he tends to gets distracted by the camera. I want to catch them for you all to see. Also, you have to see how Anikin and Archimedes interact; they are so amazing to watch and very entertaining!

Anyway, I love all the videos, keep them coming as well, it's interesting to see how other IRN act. Take care everyone; we hope to get more videos to you soon!

PS That is right, talking with an enthused high voice gets the birds attention better than just talking to them as if you were conversing with another person.

Yes, Anikin flies all around the house. His feathers are still growing out, but he's almost fully there. I keep his wings cliped, but when they grow out I let him fly around for a month or so, and gradually clip them back down. It's stressful when he's able to fly because I have to be extra careful that he doesn't get outside accidently, etc.; obviously he is limited to house, I can't take him out with me

like I usually do. But, he loves to fly so I have to let him have a little time doing just that!

i know exactly what you mean misty. indie talks really good until he sees the camera then he tries to impress it and does his dance .he calls out julie,tiffany,reggie so clear but never when i can get it on vid.and i still have to work out how to upload vids.

wonderful video, thanks for sharing. Anikin was the first audio I had heard of an indian ringneck and I had already loved the look of them. Hearing Anikin, from the main page of this site clinched getting one of these wonderful birds for me.

And i play Anikin speaking to EVERYONE
