I have had my Ring neck Rango for a couple of months now, i have a tried clicker training but i don't like it

i have found repeating tricks with rewards has worked best, at the moment Rango is learning to fly back to me when i call him as his first trick, any suggestion on good starter tricks that are easy to learn?? (aside from step up and down)

Hi there and welcome.

We started with coming when called too, then to turn around in a circle. To teach him we started with moving the treat and moving it in a circle so he followed it while giving the verbal cue. It was easy to teach, after a few goes we no longer had to use the treat as bait, he'd just do the trick to get the reward at the end. Getting him to drop objects into a container was also really easy for him. And also hanging upside down from a finger.
