Breeder said baby is going to be cobalt....but looks turquoise to me???
Secondly....
I put cobalt in the gen calculator as single factor dark and visual blue [Is that right?]
This is the pairing I came up with...is the D for double factor?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
1.0 grey(sf) turquoise(parblue)Blue
x 0.1 D blue
% from all 1.0
12.5% 1.0 D grey(sf) blue
12.5% 1.0 D blue
12.5% 1.0 grey(sf) turquoise(parblue)Blue
12.5% 1.0 turquoise(parblue)Blue
12.5% 1.0 grey(sf) blue
12.5% 1.0 blue
12.5% 1.0 D grey(sf) turquoise(parblue)Blue
12.5% 1.0 D turquoise(parblue)Blue
% from all 0.1
12.5% 0.1 D grey(sf) blue
12.5% 0.1 D blue
12.5% 0.1 grey(sf) turquoise(parblue)Blue
12.5% 0.1 turquoise(parblue)Blue
12.5% 0.1 grey(sf) blue
12.5% 0.1 blue
12.5% 0.1 D grey(sf) turquoise(parblue)Blue
12.5% 0.1 D turquoise(parblue)Blue

correct.

So if the your Input is right then what do you think should D stand for? A Little hint: double factor is wrong.

I was thinking after I posted that double factor was wrong because it would be DF right?
Ugh. I'm just thrilled that I got cobalt right

female = cobalt = dark and visual blue = 0.1 D blue

there is no Deep in the gen cal- However, Madas has a made a calc with Deep, Emerald(aqua) and Indigo I believe...however I couldn't get it to work/install on my computer (not tech savvy)
Anyhow...Deep acts in same way as Dark does ;)

Hi
You have entered cobalt into gencalc as D Blue correct?
so D Blue = Cobalt
so lets look at your results:
1.0 grey(sf) turquoise(parblue)Blue
x 0.1 D blue
% from all 1.0
12.5% 1.0 D grey(sf) blue = Cobalt grey
12.5% 1.0 D blue = Cobalt
12.5% 1.0 grey(sf) turquoise(parblue)Blue =Turquoise Grey
12.5% 1.0 turquoise(parblue)Blue = Turquoise blue
12.5% 1.0 blue
12.5% 1.0 D grey(sf) turquoise(parblue)Blue = Cobalt turquoise grey
12.5% 1.0 D turquoise(parblue)Blue = Cobalt turquoise blue
So those would be your results and what 'D' stands for

Ok Shey, so tell me what would single darkfactor do to a turquoise or grey baby? Anything? How would the color be different?

A single or double Dark(factor) on Grey does not show- at least not visually.. A Dark Blue Turquoise in other words is just a Cobalt with the Turquoise mutation- and from what I have seen, the colour of the patches will alter (sometimes slightly) accordingly depending on what other mutations are also present- but am yet to investigate this further..
