splayed legs, question

First time breeding and I hope I'm just paranoid, but I have a pair that has only one chick, (2 days old), and my question is: is it to early for the chick to have splayed legs? He/she is laying in the nest belly down, with both legs pushed out. would this be normal?

Hi Molossus, thanks for the reply. Went in there last night and to my surprise another chick was there(guess I need to candle alittle better), back to the intial topic, it seems the first chick is standing with both legs underneath him alittle better, is it something I still should be concerned about?

Having troubles adding a picture, says my file is to big. I'm not very computer savy. While I try and figure that out, every time I pack down the bottom of the nest, she keeps digging out a little hole and keeps the chicks in there, any suggestions

The first pic is 2days, as you can see the bottom of the box(notice the legs). The second is 4days, I packed it down, but 2hours later she had it dug down to the bottom again, should I just keep packing it in until she stops? should I still be concerned about the legs.
