Hi people out there!!

New member to IRN club
I'm imran Aka immy, I'm a graphic fashion designer, I'm 29 from uk, I recently spoke to imran the actual person who's running the site and I found him on fb..I just purchased my IRN which he is called prince, and I got some advice as well as Doin some of my own research wether to clip his wings or not..I've decided not to clip his wings as he is very co-operative. it's my first ever IRN.. Prince is around eight months old not rammed but getting there.scared at first as all pets are from new environment..I left prince in the cadge for a week before I started his training..target training commands and also onto step up commands..and I'm doing well with him so far..the only problem I have is..he steps up on the perch and slowly getting him to step upto my finger...he gets confused sometimes, so have to start again.. Slowly as he is progressing..he is getting use to stepping on to my fingers bt..with a perch at the moment lol but yes he has done good for 4 weeks of owning him..anyone wanna advice me you can add me on Facebook or leave me a comment thanks xx

Welcome, you will find lots of information here. Nice you decided not to clip Prince's wings. My Kiwi's wings were clipped when I got but I will leave it grow and not clip it again. Coco my cockatiels wings are unclipped now, although I did clip it a few time when I got him but no more now. I have to be very careful though with open windows etc. Thinking of putting some mosquito netting on the bird room windows then I can leave it wide open in the summer. Would like to hear more about Prince and his progress in training.
