I have an 18 month old male Ringneck who was hand tame and very sweet.....I made the mistake about 6 months ago to catch him and force him out of his cage to show him enthusiastically to a friend....I realize now what a bad mistake I made and now he runs from my hand, won't step up, and will attack my hands when I am placing his foods dishes in the cage....Any help to retrain him to be tame would be greatly appreciated!

How much does he love food? A particular food- like sunflower seeds? Will he take anything from your hand, even if it's through the bars?
