Hallo people,
I have 20 month old IRN cock and I want to breed him this season.
1. Is it possible?
2. What is recommanded, older hen or about the same age?

Older hen. My young 22 month old cock bird and his 3 year old hen double clutched this year 3 then 4. The first two eggs were infertile while he was learning I suppose!

I would make sure the older hen will accept your younger cock first though.......older hens have been known to kill a cock if they don't like them!!
