Prayer for our Jen

Dear Lord,
A dear friend of ours, one of our IRN family members is going through one of the hardest times a human could indure. Jen is heading to California to visit with her Dad who has found out he is suffering cancer and only has a short time with us before he joins you and his wife in Heaven. I pray that you give Jen and her family the strength to get through the last few months with him and that they somehow find a way to enjoy what time is left. Please send angels and wrap your arms around Jen, her Dad and family, fill them with the holy spirit for comfort and strength during this time of need.

Jen knows i love her and her family, and knows my feelings. I just didn't want to write anything in here that people may misinterpret, and then have to explain myself. I just haven't caught up with Jen for a few days because she's not been home and I wanted to just leave a message that I was thinking about her here because I know she is devoted to this board!!
I have a habit of saying things to get a smile out of the upset person that most other people would probably consider to be inappropriate!!
I consider the whole board to be friends but wouldn't dream of writing anything personal unless I truly knew the person.

Hey you guys,
Just a quick note to say thanks for all the prayers and kind words! We need them! Dad isn't doing well at all and my heart is breaking on a daily basis!!! But thanks for everything!!!

Just to let you all know .. Jen left me a note that her dad passed away last thursday the day after she returned to Ohio. She is thankful that our prayers helped and he didn't suffer long. She will be back on board soon.
I just want to thank God that he is safe with him now.

Kyria is right, our Jen is back. However, she is having to start a new life so she may not be on as much, or at all for awhile.
WARNING:
Jen can be grrr sometimes but always apologizes. So, if she has an off day... leave my girl alone. Let it slide. I want her back in any capacity. Even if its a bitchy one
That being said, check in with us Jen, we genuinely miss you punkin.
