Alexandrine losing feathers

Hi
Just wandering if anyone has any advice... our alexandrine has recently started to lose his feathers, he has little bald patches above his beak too.
The weather here has got very warm all of a sudden so could he just be 'malting' ready for summer?
He seems fine in his behaviour, eating and drinking the same and very chatty!
