New IRN Won't eat! :(

Hey everyone,
I bought a 6 month old, parent reared, Turquoise IRN on the 8th, Charlie is in the Kitchen because of Tess my African Grey being in the living room and it needing to be Quarantined.
When I got Charlie on Saturday s/he (I don't know the gender) would do nothing but sit on the Perch that's the highest in the cage and would start panicing as soon as I'd go near, I didn't think s/he'd eat because obviously s/he'd be distressed with the new move, today Charlie was jumping back and forth from the Swing to the Perch but would still get scared when me or my dad would go near, again I was expecting that and know it'll be like this for a while, however, s/he still won't eat or drink anything, we've put fresh fruit and veg as well as a bowl of dried fruit and a bowl of seed and we even hung millet by the top perch, it's not like there's nothing for him/her to choose from, I'm starting to worry now and I know I'm probably being silly but I can't help it, what can I do to get Charlie to eat, I'm going to the local pet store to buy some additional bowls that I can attatch closer to he higher perch incase s/he's too scared to go down to the bottom, but if that doesn't work I don't know what to do.
Also, what can I do to stop Charlie from being scared of me as soon as I walk near the cage?
Any advice would be more than appreciated,
Thankyou.
