What's this behaviour mean?

I don't know.
With my dog I can tell exactly what he wants based on his body language. My IRN? I have no clue half the time. A few things are super obvious to me now, but still most of his behaviour is a mystery.
Your vet might just be right. My sister's IRN used to swing from the end of a strip of rawhide, flapping wildly about his cage, yelling the whole time. He was playing. Hane never does anything remotely like that- he's so completely different from his brother. They're all individuals, so for this behaviour you describe, I just don't have a real answer for you.
