Hi!
This is an answer to Ellie: First of all, thank you for all the great tip:)By the way your birs is sooo cute and beautiful!
No he doesn,t take treats through the cage bars he takes it from my hand allready:P
But...hahaha he is soooo smart and "qurious" about my fingers though, when I hold a big piece of sallad ( he loves salad! ) He at first takes chunky bits from it ( or throw it arround in the cage and make funny "growling" sounds, it seems like this is his "happy or playful noises because he does that when he is full of energy and is playful and there is really cute " sounds full of chirping, growling, beep and cutter and between that some attempt for words...awww so cute!
He does that sounds several hours a day;) That is not bothering just really cute
When I hold the sallad
leafe, then he strategically moves his red beak nearer and nearer my finger and "pretend" that he doesn,t see my finger and then..just tries to nibble on my finger and then....a bite

Yikes, ok then not so hard that it bleeds but a real bite! When he does that I remove the salad and say nooooo Loomi...no biting.Oh that funny bird because then he screams back at me lol

Is it possible to make him a more "no biting fingers" IRN? I dont want him to see my finger as food

Ok just kidding, could it be a way of him to "interact" with me?
To Kiki22 and Molossus thank you for your tip too:)Yes baby steps and a lot of time, love and tenderness seems to do the trick

I spend a lot of time with him because I am home every day, soon I will have a course in IT four hours a day, I hope he can stand it

But the course starts 12.30 in daytime to 16.30 afternoon so I can at least spend 2,5 hours in the morning with him and the rest when I get home, my fiance comes home too in afternoon so he can have company again;) This course is for 3 months. He have some company with our two canarys as well, but they are not together, just watching eachothers from 1,5 meters away:)
I know that this species is not so good to have in the same cage, but at least a little company to watch from distance and talk too;) Hahaha soon people with think I am collector of yellow birds! Loomi is sooo yellow, I wonder what my yellow the canarys will think? Maybe they think " WOW that is one h...ll of a big canary

They seem to be very qurious about him, hihi no wonder!
MissK , he LOVES toilet rolls to play with;) OR watch movie clips from my Iphone, ( On other ringnecks or he loves cartoons, playful colors;)I cannot have the Iphone too near, then he wants to chew it

It seems to be the same here, I'll hand you toys and you'll take them". That is fun for our Loomi too;)Even though he is not fully tame yet:)
taywer321, he is now 1 year and soon 2 months old, yea I agree and thank you for your tip too:) Thank you for the good luck wish
