What is this behaviour?

I've become very close to my parrot now, we have developed a good bond together after having him for a couple of months. He is still less than a year old. Anyway, I give him a lot of kisses on his chest and when I approach him, he will tilt his head bac, and close his eyes and do this little tiny chirp type noise. It is so cute. I was just wondering why he does this? It's interesting.

thats really nice! I think he might like you doing that to him, unless he really hates it when you try to kiss him, so he's thinkin if he should let you or bite you. hehe :)
honestly, im not really sure what that could mean, but last year, my Alexandrine parrot ( has a much bigger beak than an IRN) bit me on my nose when I tried to kiss him. Lucky he didnt get my eyes. He was about 4months old then and sort of was behaving the way yours is now. :)
So the lesson here is dont put his beak near your eyes. hehe...

That could be the female mating stance. They make a sort of clucking noise when they do that. My female does that for me all the time too.
