Has Anyone Tamed a 1 year old?

Hi. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with taming a one year old cock bird or if it not recommended after such a long time?

I have, it was slow going though. I just let him take his time, I have had him for 3 years now and he has only just been stepping onto my hand to come out and go back in his cage in the last couple of months
His story is in IRN stories - "Hazel's story" if you are interested so I gues it just depends on how patient you are and how much time you have to put into the bird. Good luck

my first boy was older when we got him and he was apparently untame, it didnt take him long to become fully tame.
I have only been bitten by him once in 9 years.
