hi everyone im new and need some advice
i recently bought a ring neck hes around 18months and hasnt been wanted,just passed around. He is frighted of everything and looks so sad.
I have given him toys and he loves to sit and look in the mirror all day, the only noise he makes is a loud squawk that im thinking is to warn me away from him. he sits at the back of his cage all day even when i leave his cage open, well apart from one time he came out but could hardly fly, i caught him to put him back and he bit me. Only to be expected i suppose and he will watch my kakirike but will attack threw the bars.
please help me to make me a happy bird

Hi~ I hope your birdie warms up to you soon! I would remove the mirror, if I were you.
Birds think that is another bird and they sort of fall in love with that "other bird".
He has it for "companionship" and does not need you.
Just a thought.
