When to find my alexandrine male/female?

the pet store guy told that its a male when i`m getting it ... its around 12 weeks now i can see slight small black ring under its beek...

DNA testing is the way to go or you will have to wait 2yrs plus.
Behavior could give you a few clues but not at that age.
DNA testing if you pull feathers or take blood yourself should only cost $20 or so. You can find details online, download the form and if feathers pull two feathers from the chest, place in a small bag. You can take blood from a nail clipped just a fraction short to get a blood sample, or on the bigger birds could use a needle to take blood from a vein on the foot/leg. Dab a small spot on to a card and let it dry before placing in a small plastic bag and posting off with the form and payment. Results take about a week to 10days.
