My alexandrine is way to attached to his cage, when we sit with him in the room where his cage is he has to fly back to his cage and does every thing to get back there, is there anyway to get him to like to stay with us when the cage is in the picture?, i dont want him to grow up into one of those parrots that gets aggressive when anyone gets near him while he is in his cage

My IRN is very young and likes being on the play top on her cage. She will do step up, but ultimately will go back to the top of her cage. Ours is young and new to our home, so I think she will get more used to us as time goes on.
