Hi to all we have a beautifully blue hand reared 8 month irn who is very tame and very much my boyfriends bird although he tolerates me very well my question is ,,, he has been learning to talk for over a month now and getting very good. But as soon as he comes out of the cage he stops talking completely. He is very confident out of the cage just wanting to know should I be doing something to get him to talk outside of his cage. My IRN will make noises in her cage, but not outside her cage. I think it might be due to being in a new environment with new people. Glad your bird is talking. Some birds never talk at all.

I would also like to know how to get the bird talking outside of its cage. Mine talks inside but once out he rarely says a word.
