Could anyone suggest a good cd or tape that would enhance my irn,s(sabu) ability to whistle. Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Ken and Doreen and welcome to this forum!
I am tempted to tell you that teaching your Ringneck to whistle is easy; however, I really can’t say that just because my parrot picked it up so fast.
To be honest with you, the best way for getting your Ringneck to whistle really well is through you. Tapes are great but I believe they don’t hold the bird’s attention too well. Tapes are often repetitive and uninteresting for the parrots.
Try whistling a tune and stick with it. You’ll be amazed at how your whistles can grab his or her attention. Unlike talking, which Ringneck mumbling can be hard to make sense of, you’ll know when your Ringneck practices the whistle. It’s very humorous and entertaining. Mine would break up the tune and practice only parts of it until he got it.
So to sum things up I would just use my natural old voice. It works wonders.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes and again, welcome to this forum!
