Sharing a cage w/ a cockatiel

I am interested in purchasing my first IRN. It is a baby and I was wondering if it could share a cage? I have a large flight cage which houses a single, very friendly, male cockatiel. The dimensions of the cage are 37" x 23" x 47" high with 5/8" bar space. I also have a moustache parakeet and a sun conure, both in their own cages. I have no problems getting the INR it's own cage, but the cockatiel was always used to having a buddy until recently when my old girl, Beanie (cockatiel) recently passed away and wondered if it would cause problems.

Im sorry but what i have heard and read Indian ring necks will not house with anyone but their own kind.

Due to them getting aggressive.

Yes, each parrot should always have its own cage  All parrots are territorial and this could lead to the death or the injury of the cockatiel. I would separate them.

Best Wishes,
