possible colours from torquise cobalt /buttercup

i have a pair of torquise cobalt irn both split for buttercup and they have bred 2 chicks this year one is a torquise and the other looks cobalt all over except for a faint torquise on its flight feathers,does anyone know if it possible to get violets off this pairing of torquise cobalts as the 2nd chick looks very dark

Not possible to get Violets. The dark chick could be a Double Factor Cobalt. When you add 2 dark factors together you can get a Mauve which is like a dark Grey coloured bird.

Try to post some pics of the parents and the darker offspring. perhaps one of your turq cobalts is a bad (light) colored turq violet and the offspring is then a (turq) cobalt violet. But rod is right if the really are two turq cobalts. Pics will show it. ;)
