Hey all,
So my bird is a bit over a year old and he was very very talkative. I moved for 3 months but am back in my old house which he is familiar with. But I have new housemates and one of them has a cockatiel which doesn't get along with my ringneck at all.
Anyways since I've been back my baby hasn't said a word!
Will he ever talk again?? Is it because of the new bird? I don't think it is the environment or the people because my bird recently came away with me and there were about 5 new faces but he was still very talkative. Any suggestions?

has your bird started their molt yet ? ours is in the middle of his >> adult molt and looks absolutly horrid . He was quiet and sooky for a few weeks before he started to really lose feathers

Great news, he has started talking again!! I have noticed that he does not talk or whistle around the cockatiel at all so i think he might just be shy.

I'm glad he has started talking again! You may find once he gets more used to being around the cockatiel he will gather the courage to talk some more.
