If it is an ADM pied mutation, then it is possible as the cocks never get a ring.
Otherwise, it is possible, but not as likely. I've seen some cocks breed when 2 years old prior to their ring showing, but these are mostly cocks that was born very early in a season.

Yes. A two yr o cock will breed. They develop the neck ring about 4 to 6moths later. Hens mature earlier and have been known to breed at 1 yr . Not a good idea as the birds still young at 1yr.

Hello,
I have a question aswell, at what age is it too old to breed an Indian ringneck hen? I might be getting a lutino and a albino hen that are 2.5 years old but if I get them I won't breed for at least another 2 years. Thank you in advance

also if anyone knows when a female cockatiel can't have chicks? Thank you
