first time Ringneck owners

Hi Everyone! we have been raising Zebra finches for a year now, we currantly have 10 but thought we would expand the family and brought an Indian Ringneck from my brother who breeds birds. his name is "Dino" he is yellow and now 6 months old, somewhat tame, but where seeking some advice/tips for training him to be more placid and accepting of being handled. as where not wanting to have him in a cage all the time, where wanting him to be able to freely move around the house and enjoy interaction with myself and my boyfriend.
