Keeping my IRN in airconditioning?

I have been hand raising my 6 week old IRN 'Kokoda' for the past 4 weeks and he is now almost fully feathered. I live in the very north of Australia where it is extremely hot and very high humidity. During the day he is outside under a fan and spends almost the entire day in his water bowl. At night the temp barely drops but the breeze does and I need to bring him inside the house because of wandering cats, making it very hot. My question is, should I let him sleep in air-conditioning during the night or leave him inside in the heat. Is it possible for them to develop health issues from sleeping in cooler or hot temperatures?
