Hi all could someone please tell me how long are the babies in the nest? and do the parents still feed them when they come out, and do they go back in or when they are out they are out for good? I have 2 lutino babies they are so beautiful and bright yellow they were hatched on the 1st and 3rd of Nov so are nearly 6wks old, so just wanting to know when they will be flying around so can put them back in the avairy with the others.

They should be leaving the nest in another week or two. Once they come out they can go back in and out for the first few days. The parents will continue to feed them as well as them starting to feed themselves. I usually leave mine in the breeding cage with the parents till they are 12 weeks old. They need to learn to fly and land on the perches and also feed themselves.
