leave music or the television on? My babies love music. I leave it on for them all the time! Especially when i'm not home. Do they enjoy anything in particular?

I leave the radio on when I'm at work and if I'm only going to be gone a short while I'll leave the t.v. on. Usually like to leave it on Animal Planet, but my husband makes fun of me for that. Tee hee! Guess I'm a big dork, but hey.... I loves my babies!

Yep .. I leave the radio on for the birds when I am out also.
When I am at home and play music they seem to play on their own better. But when I play matchbox 20 or Ronan Keating they love it, they carry on like they are singing along. Must be the tunes in the song or something

We dont leave anything on because Datsun tends to be the grumpiest cow when we get home if we do. What can I say she loves the sound of her own voice more!

We have this rediculously big ol Tv and my old man complains because I leave it on saying it is going to burn the screen out.
Is this true on HDtvs? Its like a 58 inch thing. I dont know. All I know is it is so big it be pure obnoxious.
I'll show ya iffin ya wanna see it. It truly is obnoxiously big. Im sure the guys are saying NO SUCH THING! lol
This one is cool cuz of the kitty's eyes.
Those cats are ALWAYS right beside eachother. She took to that baby unlike the others so we let her keep it.
We realize now how sad and lonely she was. She is much happier now that she has a daughter.
Ladies? Can we say OBNOXIOUS! TV's and cars, why do men attribute their worth to that lol. As some ladies with big breasts. I have a big tv and no boobs, trade ya!

Mikaela,
Your house is so GORGEOUS! I'm so envious! What I wouldn't do for a larger house! But at least I have a home and it's filled with all my babies and my wonderful husband. So I shouldn't be envious! I am happy, would just like more space! But heck then I'd probably get more critters to take up that space. But your house is GORGEOUS!

House rich, money poor punkin.
We gotta have some place to put all these youngens
If they get too close, iiiiieee lol
Thank you though. At least you dont have to clean three baths. Theres an up side to everything. lol
Should have seen this dump when we moved in. I did all the painting myself! So proud of that! Shhhh but I was scared when I was really high cutting in on the ladder (but dont tell noone).
I want to show the whole house and share it with yall but I dont want any one to think Im whatever, you know? Im very modest but I also like sharing happy things with friends.
But sometimes friends arent so happy, ya know? But those arent real friends if they feel that way. Ever told a 'friend' good news and they actually seemed disappointed? Yeah. Like that.
But! I would soooooo love to post pics of the house now that its done.

Men and their TV's dear...
We have a beast too, so big that I devided my living room here to give it its own space... so I dont have it in the middle of everything. Personally I could live without a tv

.
However, that said.. the TV in my bedroom is always on. I have one bird in there and she gets lonley! So, she has a TV buddy. The birds have their own TV too, but its not on all that often, only when they are really wound up and I need some down time.. then they get cartoons

I am very brave when it comes to color, you can always re-do it!
Ok, so ya'll wanna see my housie!? Yay!
I'll post pics tomorrow!
Keep in mind, when we moved in it was all white... two packs of cigarettes a day white lol.
The floors were horrid. Put hardwood in the kitchen. Blah, you'll see it. Pics speak a thousand words.

LOL... I'm fond of color myself. I think thats one of the things that sold me on this house... a gorgeous red kitchen helped a lot!
The living room is white.. but we have cherry wainscotting so it has a lot of gorgeous color too.
I love this house, I'm so glad we moved here. Of course with all hardwood I spend most of my days sweeping and mopping... but its worth it!

Mikaela,
I would love to see photos of the house now that it's done. And if anyone thinks your...whatever, they don't have to look! I love seeing how other people decorate and stuff. Also gives me ideas on what to do if and when we ever get a newer, bigger house. So post away lady! I would so enjoy them!
And I so know what you mean when you made the comment about telling a "friend" something good about you and they don't react the way they should being a friend and all! Had that happen all too many times in my life--when I got engaged was the worst, one of my dearest friends was jealous, cuz she wasn't married yet and really didn't want to hear anything about my wedding or to help me.

But she finally came around and apologized and admitted what was going on inside her head. So... We're still very close friends, and she's married now.
SO POST THOSE PICTURES AND BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU DID. I WANNA SEE 'EM!
Hugs,
Jen
