so im feeding my two babies, theyre 5-6 weeks now. chirp like craaaazy when theyre hungry and bob like mad. its soo cute.
something that ive noticed is that as they start to get full, their chirp changes pitch, tone and call. becomes a deeper single slow call, rather than successive rapid high ones.

just wondering about the physiological/natural purpose to this change, if anyone has an answer?

I know the sounds you mean but not sure why.Its kinda like they talk about the food.Im handraising a baby princess parrot at the moment and it seeems to make funny little noises,he definately has the come on im ready now noise,the im going to be naughty and run across the bench with my wings out noise.
