When to expect baby's first molt?

I am just wondering when to expect my baby's first full molt. He is just over 7 months old now... When did your baby molt for the first time?? Any responses would be great thank you!!

As soon as the daylight hours begin to shorten ie just past midsummer.

This is confusing to me.. since it is November now and he hatched last march.. how old was your bird when they began their first molt?

In Australia they moult in Dec Jan.

Okay thank you, good to know. I am wondering when it will happen, as he is quite itchy (getting extraa baths) and is beginning to look a little.. less sleek haha
