Hey guys! I raise a 2 year old indian ring neck (male) i've had him for more than a year now and everything was great, his diet is great yet he's loosing a lot of feathers on his head and some on his body, he does pluck more than usual, but the ones on his head just fall off i guess, because he can't pluck his head lol, or maybe he can with his foot. Is this something i should be worried about? is it just a phase? Hes a very healthy bird, i don't know how this came about.

any help is greatly appreciated.

Feather plucking is a indicator of problems. The bird could be bored through lack of attention. Best you post a pic for a fair assessment.

Foraging for most if not all of their food can decrease boredom and is good for all birds regardless of whether they have "problems" or not.
