ok im looking at getting a pr of IRNs for my self,
im quite taken by the clear head / clear tail mustations,
im after a bit of info on what possible parings to get the widest veriaty of colour possible from the offspring, as at this point im only intrested in having just 1 breeding pr.
so what are some sugestions for prings in the clear head and or clear tail mustations,
i quite like the look of cobolts and buttercups but again im not %100 sure on just what to get yet,
the main thing in looking for is , most possiblilty for producing diffrent colours in the offsping (most verity of colour offsping)
and sugestions or advie plese?

With the Cleartails they are a Recessive mutation so you will need a Visual Cleartail and a Cleartail split to breed Cleartail young in the best numbers. Now as for different colours, this is where it gets interesting. If money is no object and you can find the birds then you could go with the Violet and Cobalt colours. For instance a Violet Blue Cleartail Cock and a Cobalt split Cleartail Hen would give you Cobalt, Violet, Violet Cobalt, Blue in Visual Cleartail young and the young that arent Visual Cleartail would be split.
If your Cock was Violet Cobalt Cleartail and the Hen Green Split Cleartail then you would add Green, Dark Green, Violet Green and Dark Violet Green to the outcomes.
It depends where you want to and can afford to start, also if the birds are available for sale. Some of these are still quite rare.
Buttercup is a different Mutation but breeds the same way as Cleartail as a Recessive Mutation.
Another way for variety would be a Lutino split Blue split Lacewing (Pallid) Cock and a Blue Hen. This would give you Albino and Lutino Hens, Green and Blue Lacewing Hens, Blue and Green Cocks.
Its up to you how many mutations you want to mix but not all go together.
