yeah she is getting big.she is a delight to own,still oves her cuddles.
don't know how she is going to go when we go away.
I was taking her with me, but realized that it gets really hot where we r going and there is no air con, which elka is use to, so she is staying with a freind, hoping she doesn't hate me when I come back, my freind is into birds,so I know she will be well looked after,
any how here is me blabbin on again.
Its nice to be back on the forum, missed all the action and goss,
so much to catch up on.

My Baby doesnt have much baby left in her. She is starting to look mature.

.. glad my son picked one for his bird
hope s/he grows up as pretty as elka
and that lori x is amazing, I am going to look about this saturday with a girlfriend of mine for a bird for her and was thinking IRN , but my girlfriend is not only a new bird owner but a very unsure new bird owner, so I was thinking of maybe a lori or tiel something a little less temprimental than an IRN. Boy I hope we come across something as pretty as destiny.

If your friend is not really bird orientated I would try her with a teil,
Lorries can be tempermental like irns.
they are alot like children wanting to play 24/7.
I have found that elka is quite happy to play, but she also likes her time to her self. Elkajust like to be with you and have cuddles, were destiny like to be all over you and every where else.
we call elka our elegant posh queen, destiny our little monster.
all thought lorries have a lot of funniest about them.
My daughter has a teil, I find that for someone with not alot of experience a teil is great.
This is just my thoughts as i have the three and they are very different from each other

Elka sure has grown up. What a darling little bird! And Destiny is amazing! I've never seen such colors on a bird! Wow! How beautiful your babies are! Keep the photos coming! Love em!

Your Destiny has all the colors of the world right there on her little body..what an amazing/colorful parrot lories are!!
