Hello everyone,

Haven't had a lot of time to visit, but just love to see the updates pics of IRN's around the world!

Our Maize is now talking sentences. She is about 1 1/2 years old, and she is the greatest companion ever! She had a real rough go in her first year (she broke her leg twice) but she is really coming around now.

She now says, hello, What are you doing, huh? and How are you?

I could have cared less if she ever spoke, but what a bonus when they do!
I could listen to her talk for hours.

Would love to hear more sound clips of IRN's chatting it up...

Hailing from Florida, our IRNs are doing great! Finally stopped biting and love us more than ever- and vice versa.

No health problems for us, even though some days they're wandering the floor unexpectedly (near misses with the feet). And the dogs know better- they're afraid of the birds. In fact, the IRNs think it's FUNNY to chase them and bite their toes!

My sister and I both treasure our relationships with our birds all the moreso as we see all our hard work pay off. It's such a thrill. ^_^

Baby is reeeally starting to make some interesting noise... clucking, trying to say a three word phrase that NONE of us agree on.

I cant WAIT to hear her say something that is without a doubt A WORD!

I just got myself all excited thinking how luck I am to still have that ahead of me!

She sneeks and does it though, as if she isnt comfortable with it, yet. Or she will do it really low if she knows we can hear her.

How long after they start trying does it usually take them to get it out? I know this can vary buuuuut.
