Hi All,
I am pairing a male Lutino to a Grey Pallid hen.
I used gencalc and its shows the following:
1.0 ino x 0.1 D grey(sf) blue pallid
% from all 1.0
25.0% 1.0 grey(sf) pallidIno /blue
25.0% 1.0 pallidIno /blue
25.0% 1.0 D grey(sf) pallidIno /blue
25.0% 1.0 D pallidIno /blue
% from all 0.1
25.0% 0.1 grey(sf) ino /blue
25.0% 0.1 ino /blue
25.0% 0.1 D grey(sf) ino /blue
25.0% 0.1 D ino /blue
Can anyone please share pics of:
grey pallidino
D grey pallidino
D pallidino
grey(sf) ino
D grey (sf) ino
D ino
sorry but all the names are confusing lol... is it a good paring??

Looks like you have put the hen in as a Dark factored Bird and this may be confusing you. There should be no D in her or any of the young.
The young Hens will both be Lutino but split blue and maybe masking Grey. Both Grey and Violet can be masked By Ino. What this means is that the bird may carry the Grey gene but you cannot tell until they are bred from.

Thanks Rod,
so what would be the correct input on gencalc for Grey Pallid?

Grey (sf) Blue Pallid.
The results will be the same minus the Dark factor birds.

blue, grey sf, pallid, & the bird can't be split to blue it already carries the blue gene a grey bird is a blue series bird if you breed 2 single factor grey birds you will get grey and blue babies that's why you have to include blue in the genetic calculator when entering a grey bird if not you are entering a grey-green bird to the calculations instead of a grey bird

Put pallid split ino and you can only do that on males which makes pallidino.
