Help!!

Hi. I just joined and am not used to forums. I get a strip on the lefthand side with ads and cannot see part of the posts and cannot get rid of the ads. There is no X on there, and the arrow doesn't do anything. Can someone help? Thanks.

We are using Internet Explorer version 8 (our browser). If we do not have the IE Forum window
fully maximized, the left hand ad banner panel covers portions of the posts.
Check to see that your browser window is maximized to full screen and see if that helps.
