how can I explain it .. its like a double squeek, over and over (ever heard the sound of a gum leaf being blown) like that. And its accompanied by a hoping and head tapping, they also flair out their shoulders as they hop. Hope this helps

this is gunna sound kinda funny..but have you heard a golden pheasant or a peacock..not the normal call..but the mating call call? It sounds very similar to that...

I dont have a sound clip either but when i had a pair in quarantine inside the male would do his noises and it sounded like de det deow de det deoow and he would lean in towards her and keep doing it till she paid attention to him. all the other males out in the aviaries would go nuts and the hens looked very curious.
