Here's his favorite game lately.
(yes, he has "duck butt" from breaking off his tail feathers playing rough.)

He sits in his food dish on top of his cage.
Then he tries to lift the dish out of the holder while he's IN it!

Oh my goodness, those pics are the cutest... EVER!!!! I love him sitting in his dish.... too adorable! What a laugh!

I cant believe Im saying this but... the duck tail is actually cute!

The rest of the fella looks great and healthy. I have seen some awful looking tails (my 'tiel chief plays really hard) but even though your baby messed his tail all up, it looks cute... cute... cute!!!!!

I wouldnt care one bit if I were you. I would rather my baby be happy and play hard with no tail than sit doing nothing but looking beautiful.

He lost his tail entirely OUTSIDE of the cage.
Because jumping off things is the most fun ever.

That duck tail is all I can talk about. I even had to print it to show my breeder/friend because when I told her about Busey she got on her soap box but I put her back in her place.

She was like omg, poor baby blah. I was like naw, wait... it isnt caged to small he is just a wacko when he plays and he DOESNT look terrible. In fact, he is ADORABLE!

She saw the pic and giggled having to agree. I love my lil busey duckboy.
