Prinny has been chattering up a storm lately but no true words (more like she has been practicing) well this morning I walked in like I normally do and she starts up and I hear "Hello". I mean a complete word...one that was clear as day. Shock the sh*t out of me that's for sure. Not that I really care if she is a talker but in her past ramblings she never did say anything...but we have one word now... :D

So to everyone on this board Prinny says "Hello!"

Hooray Prinny!
That's so awesome! I know when Milo--my tiel--said "hi" to me for the first time I paged my husband--who is a police officer and was on duty--to let him know. You'd have thought it was our child or something. He didn't get why I was so excited. But... It's a mom thing. I'm happy for you and Prinny. What a smart girl!

Hugs,
Jen

How exciting! I remember when Dats started talking.... it never stops! Athena is right, they pick up new words almost daily!

Datsun wants to say something
"Helllooo, heeeeeeeeello..... what you doin?" This is her classic response to anyone saying hello to her.

CONGRATULATIONS it is a very exciting day!

Well "hello" Prinny :)

I love it when parrots communicate with talking, while mine doesn't talk yet (8 months old) he commonicates just fine with me...I get the wolf whistle about 10 times a day. Makes this girl feelpretty darn good!! LOL

Does your Prinny mimic other sounds?

Congratulations! it's so exciting to hear about IRNs talking. I don't really care if Hane were to talk or not. But it sure would be a blast.

My sis want's her tsume to growl while he eats, lol. >.> Since he likes to destroy things rather than eat them.

Hello, I heard someone say, there chatter turns to a voice before they start talking. That is what happened with my IRN. He/she is 10 monthes old. he has been talking for about two monthes now. But before he started it was just chatter. Then we heard his voice change and it sounded like he was trying to use his little tongue to form words. CUTE and then he shocked us one morning and said " Peek a Boo ", and now has started saying " Luna Good Baby???". :o We both said at the same time" Did you hear what I just heard?" it is so awsome! It is a cute little animated voice and the words a very clear.
