Strange Question on Eggs

Are eggs that have chicks in them heavy or heavier then eggs that are not fertile?

I could feel the difference with mine, the fertile ones werent so much heavier but i could tell by the feel.

The reason i am asking my Hen has been sitting on her eggs since she first dropped her first one back in feb 27 i believe. I didn't candel them and i picked one up for the first time the other day and i couldn't believe how heavy and almost dence it felt. I am hoping they are fertile not sure if it is to late to candel them now or not but it should be any day now that if they are fertile they start to hatch. I was just thrown off by the weight was very suprised.
