A day in the life of Prinny...princess of everything

Dear Fellow IRNs,
Well I woke up this morning a complete and total grump. Mommy was late getting breakfast (even as I screamed from the HUNGER pains) I think she is beginning to realize that when I scream she needs to run to my aide...after all I am the princess. What am I going to do with her? Any suggestions? Hints would be helpful for my part...I know this is a human board but we IRNs have a say too...
Breakfast was decent...peppers, dark leafy stuff that I threw to the bottom of the cage, pears, broccili, turnips, carrots, corn, peas, spray millet for dessert. I would have loved some of those yummy chocolate thingys mommy was eating but she told me that it wasn't good for me. What does she know???
I think I am finally getting a handle on mommy...we are working on her control issues. Anyone else having these? She expects me to do things...me! As if I'm gonna listen or put up with her telling me to 'step up' or 'don't lunge at her'. It's driving me nuts! I'm not the dog...or cat. Lunging...SO uneffective by the way, don't bother trying it. It just gets me put back...not cool.
Anyway so that was my day...how about the rest of yours?

My mummy took me outside again today. She gets such a kick out of thinking that I want to act like a wild bird. Dad gets the camera out and I stand there and look all beautiful and get heaps of my favorite mellon seeds. You should try it next time, just do something really cute like look at an ant or the sky and do a little hop and they start shoving your favorite food at you. Its really cool.
Then I found out why mummy stayed so close to me. Some great big grey screaching thing flew out of the sky and dived bombed me. But she threw her arms up and acted just like a bigger grey thing and it flew off. My mum is sooo cool.
I am feeling a little off colour though coz i am going through a molt, so I'm gonna go to my top perch and tuck my head now. But I can't wait till its over coz then I will be a big boy and have my black ring
as mummy says Cheers !
Kai
P.S. Mummy keeps sneezing lately and says she has a "headache" ? does anyone else hear that from their mums and what does it mean, thanks for any advice ... Kai

Yes, My Mommie has four human boys and all she ever says is "Ya'll are on my last nerve... quiet please... you are giving me a headache.
I think a headache is when we are being bad birdie boys and girls because she seems to mention the headache thing everytime she loses her patience.
My Mommy said to thank you for reminding her of predators. She has been letting Cheif and I play on our stand outside in the morning. Now, she says we can only play on the screen lania. That sucks but we have a great mom that seems to know whats going on so Im sure it is for the best.

Yeah I agree with all of you:)
My mom liked it last night when I did my "nightly show" where I hop around and give out a squeal or two. She loves that stuff...esp the hopping and the talking to the wall thing I do
I get so much attention, I love it. Then the Quaker starts trying to be cool like me..even using "my" langauge. It doesn't work as I hear mom saying Mejo your not an IRN!
I gave my mom so much loving this morning, she is gonna think she can expect that....I'll be more reserved tonight I assure you all!

Mummies headache went away, which is good

. Hey I might try the talking to the wall thing, once she gets over the mating dance, omg the fuss she made when she finally realised I really am a boy.
This new latino baby Jordan is really getting on my nerves

, but soooo easy to scare off anything, what a push over

hehehe.
And now mummy went and got this little Brinly Bird, this tiny little angry looking budgeriegar, puney little greeny/yellow tweeter. One thing I will never do is tweet, tweet or chirp .. lol what kind of bird noise is that.
My house is just not my own anymore.
Oh well , back to chewing up this icypole stick.
Catchya.

Hey am I missing something to chew on ..what is a icypole stick??
Sounds rough having to share your "crib" with the others!
But I was the last one in this joint, so I know your pain
I'm with you I refuse to make other birdy noises too!!
Good idea of you...no tweet tweet stuff. That's just not right
We gotta hang together in this guys!!

Guys! Honestly.... you know nothing!!!!
I have it rough, my mum and dad are so mean to me! I was mean when I was a baby and then mum finally realised it was all a show so she just ignored it and I gave up and became sweet and lovely. Now my reward!!.... a bloody budgie (I guess Chevy isnt so bad, I kinda like him) and a lovebird!!! They would be OK but they all copy me! Doesnt anyone understand the ringneck call is meant to be for RINGNECKS???!
Honestly, why am I expected to share! But it doesnt stop there, Right now Mum says we are "just babysitting" a green ringneck and a lorikeet and 3 guinea pigs and a RAT! She loves that damn rat, kisses it, cuddles it... Blastted thing get so much more attention than me, it gets like 5 minutes of MY time!!!!! Now I only get to play with mum for like 12 hours a day!!!!
HOW RUDE!

The rats .. I forgot to mention

the rats. Mum got little baby hooded ratty poo's for her human kids. But they are growing fast and getting way too big for my liking.
She showed me one, like I was interested! , so I lunged to bite it and she took it away .. hehehe.
The human girls let them run all over them and the sofa, so annoying. My house just isnt my own. And now i hear mummy and the big girl talking about a damn Cockatiel

help!
I keep that little latino Jordan in her place, except it gets me timeout in my cage with the door shut AND the covers over

(but its not for long so its worth getting a bite in I reckon)
Icypole stick, shoot girl, ya gotta get ya mum to give you one of those. frozen icewater on a stick are icypoles or the Americans call them popsicals I think. The stick still has sweet taste from the treat left behind and they are so cool to chew to bits, ya can shred them right up and enjoy the sweet taste too without getting fat

, not that you have to worry about that, you look fine baby. Anyway I love the red ones best.

Ok so I know I haven't posted in a while (mommy's a computer hog

) So anyway I read all your posts. Mommy gets those stupid headaches too...those suck. Usually I am allowed out of my cage but she doesn't play with me. She just sleeps! How rude! Mmmm, today I had bananas and pears and some dark green that I didn't bother to eat. That sure was fun to play with though. Mommy laughed at me 'cause I put it on my head like a hat. (Thank goodness she didn't have the camera) I swear, she can be so annoying sometimes. Always taking pictures...! She says that we will have to try that type of green later, when I'm not feeling so frisky.
Hey Byndi, if you ever get to reading this...I think you're hot! Woohoo, I love your pics. Keep posting them
