Janett here... thats Janet with 2 t's...

I'm 27 years old and have lived with an IRN for the last 8 years. We got our first Pete when I was 19. He was a precious flirtatious little thing - we loved him SO much. He would climb on top of my head when I was doing the dishes and demanded a bath! Other than that he'd dance for me. Then on a Thanksgiving day, mom took him outside on her shoulder to take out the trash... and he decided to take flight... something he never did  we looked and looked and followed him from tree to tree... we never got him back  ... because we loved the breed, we got another (Pete #2)... but he is WAY different... he's a grump... that is why I'm here! For guidance. I want my old Pete to shine through

Anyway... I'm super friendly (so ask me anything) and I love to make new friends!!!

Welcome to the Family Janet (with two t's) and Pete #2. Every IRN is different in its own right and so you must handle them accordingly.

The easiest way to find info on how others have handled biters and such is to use the search button at the top of the forum and search for previous posts on the subject. Use words such as , biter, taming, stop biting, my bird bites etc. in your search.

When the others in our ever growing family come along they will throw their two bit in and answer your questions too no worries about that mate. So keep asking and keep sharing too. We love to learn new stuff ourselves.

For now, happy reading and nice to see you posting.

We love !!! pics and videos too so post as often as you can.

Cheers !
