Chipping of the beak, is there something wrong?

I have a Blue 4 month old IRN. I am a bit concerned about his beak. It has sort of a ditch in the middle of his beak and pieces of the beak chip off too. I am only worried because he didn't have it when I brought him home. What should I do?
P.S It won't let me upload a photo.

Can you take your bird to a vet?
Could this be some sort of diet deficiency?
Can you upload the photo to a photo sharing site (such as Flickr) and link to it that way?
Ellie.

chipping of the beak is quite normal it's like our finger nails, the ditch in the beak could be from him rubbing the cage bars. Anything that is done to the beak should only be done by a vet. I really don't think you have anything to worry about just yet.

my young blue rubs his beak on everything, especially me. Does he like to chew stuff? if so the beak gets chipped fairly easy, im pretty sure it doesnt hurt them.
