I was hoping to order it while it is still on sale...and me being the couponer I am, I've found a coupon for $10 dollars off, which will be great in addition with the free shipping deal going on through tomorrow.

I would be housing just one IRN in the cage. I realize he most likely couldn't use the top perch since it's rather high up...plus I have a few wood ones I would put up for him, as well as some toys to make it more homey feeling. Would you guys recommend getting other food/water dishes?...the ones on the sides kinda remind me of a feeding trough that you'd fill with seed for finches/bitty parakeets. It says that it is designed for multiples of small birds, but I was thinking it seems to be a decent size, and with a few adjustments it could be a great space for my new baby Thanks for any help guys - it's much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply! And my thoughts exactly...I'm not really a fan of the plastic ones, regardless of if they are easier to clean off or not. I got a few different sized wooden ones and was planning on putting some rope in as well. We webbed some rope around in our macaw's cage (it's a massive outdoor dog kennel that we brought inside) and he just loves it.

I'll have to look for it! The natural wood ones can get pretty pricey...the only reason I bought them were because they were on sale and basically half price.

The perches would be moveable and wouldnt last very long with an irn. I like the rope type perches too,there kinda like a horse lead rope with the rope twisted tightly and can be shaped to make the cage more interesting for the birds. and they are easy on the feet too.

We have carried that exact cage at the shop where I work before - they are awesome. It is the perfect size for a ringneck and they are easy to get into for cleaning/etc. One word of warning though - the welds are not very strong, as the bars are very thin, so don't use any heavy branches or you could weaken/break the welds.
