My Smurf behaviour - see video attached

This is Smurf. About 5 months old. Has been living with me for about 2 months.
I am just curious about this behaviour. What is difficult to tell in the vid is Smurf pins his eyes a little and makes little squeaks or chirps.
Always does this when i talk directly to him and repeat the phrases i am hoping he will learn to say himself one day.

It's happiness- Hane also does that while eating his veggies!
