pearl mutation?

The other day I was at a local flea market where someone had a turquoise ringneck with almost scalloped markings across the wings and shoulders. It also had a row of dots on its tail much like my pallid turqouise does. It reminded me of a pearl cockatiel, and just the other day someone posted an indian ringneck for sale and called it a pearl. So my question is does a pearl mutation really exists or was what I seen a true lacewing?
